Graduate Management Admission Test. The GMAT is required for admission to business school. Many business schools around the world require applicants to submit the results of the GMAT examinations as a criterion for admission to MBA programs. It measures verbal, mathematical, analytical writing skills and the new section i.e. integrated reasoning (effective from June 2012). The test is scored out of 800 and the test lasts roughly for four hours. Students can choose their own date and time for taking the GMAT Registering at least 15 days in advance is mandatory.
